Botox | Consultation Required
Details:
Facial wrinkles and lines can be reduced with cosmetic injections into the skin. The two main types of injectable substances used are botulinum toxin type A (which relaxes the facial muscles that cause the lines) and dermal fillers (which plump out the wrinkles).
Difference Between Botox & Fillers?
The primary difference between the two is that Botox reduces the activity of muscles in the face that cause wrinkles. Facial fillers, however, fill the trouble areas with collagen, which helps to stimulate collagen growth in the face as well as plump and lift the skin to replace collagen loss.
Your First Visit:
Medical Aesthetics is a rapidly growing field of medicine which involves treatments with a minimum of “downtime” but with dramatic results. Many of the treatments can literally be done in a lunch hour.
At the first visit for a medical aesthetics consultation, clients will have a detailed meeting to address the issue(s) of concern and to review health history. An individualized treatment program will be created to suit the client’s needs and budget. We discuss what is appropriate and what is achievable while maintaining realistic expectations. Combinations of treatments are often used to meet these goals.
We are able to treat many common dermatological conditions such as acne, rosacea, fine lines and wrinkles, and solar damage with or without cancerous changes. We can also suggest rejuvenation procedures to give the look which the client desires and improve the condition of the skin.
